# Getting started in three simple steps

It takes just **three steps** to automatically test your streams to guarantee quality of experience and functionality across any device:

1. Submit a stream via the [Bitmovin Dashboard](https://dashboard.bitmovin.com/player/stream-testing/add) & select a test environment (see our docs on [Adding a stream](https://developer.bitmovin.com/playback/docs/adding-a-stream))
2. Initiate the test run (either as [Regular Test](https://developer.bitmovin.com/playback/docs/regular-tests) or trigger it [manually](https://developer.bitmovin.com/playback/docs/manual-tests))
3. Get a detailed test report :tada:
