Streams details information
You can view detailed information of every Stream on the details page. You can find the following information about a Stream:
Video
Title
Stream title which is shown in the dashboard. This title can be later also used to be shown to the users as a video title based on the Player configuration.
ID
A unique alphanumeric value to identify the Stream and its configs. The ID is mainly used for internal purposes to load find the asset and load the proper configuration.
Description
The description property is a text field to enable users to provide a description internally to the Stream. This can be helpful to differentiate between Streams and provide more insights about their value and use cases to others who are working in the same organization.
Status
The status field indicates if your video or live Stream is published or not.
Published = video is online and can be viewed publicly
Unpublished = video is offline and won't be shown to users
Asset URL
The asset url field displays the original source of the video asset which was uploaded.
Encoding
Provides the Encoding status of the uploaded asset. The possible status could be "Encoding in progress", "Done", etc. You can find more details about the Encoding status by navigating to the Encoding section and clicking on the Encoding job of the respective Stream.
Manifest URL
This field displays the manifest URL of the Stream and indicates where to find it. You can copy the URL and embed it into our native Bitmovin Player (or others) as well if you need a custom Player.
Live
Title
Stream title which is shown in the dashboard. This title can be later also used to be shown to the users as a video title based on the Player configuration.

Lifecycle
Indicates the state of the Live stream status. The possible values could be "Provisioning", "Running", "Stopped", etc.
Server
URL of our single ingest service to receive the live stream input. The server URL is always the same "rtmp://live-input.bitmovin.com/streams" for all Live Streams.
Stream Key
The Stream Key serves as an authentication key when you ingest your input to the server URL. The Stream Key is associated to the specific Stream and can't be reused for other Streams.
Manifest URL
This field displays the manifest URL of the Stream and indicates where to find it. You can copy the URL and embed it into our native Bitmovin Player (or others) as well if you need a custom Player.
