Here you can check which Analytics Collector version is being deployed and if an update is available. Please note that it can take some time before the page shows the Collector version used in the latest impressions.

Using the bundled Analytics Collector version

The recommended best practice is to use the Collector version bundled with the latest Player Release. Our engineers will only bundle a new Collector version with the Player after ensuring that it is stable and fully compatible. You can check the latest Player version from its SDK Player Release Notes, and update your project dependency accordingly.

Using a different Analytics Collector version

If you want to use a more recent Collector version than the one bundled with your Player, you can refer to these articles to override the default Collector version.

Please note that this practice is not recommended, as you may encounter compatibility issues or runtime exceptions. Downgrading the Collector version is also not recommended unless specifically asked by the Bitmovin Team themselves.
