What is an ANALYTICS_BUFFERING_TIMEOUT

In Bitmovin Analytics buffering is measured by two components, based on the player event “buffered” and a heartbeat that is subsequently deployed. (Read more about it)

However, when the total duration of the first buffering event and the additional heartbeats last for longer than 2 minutes, we consider this session as timed-out, hence the collector stops data collection, transitions into an error state, and sends out an ANALYTICS_BUFFERING_TIMEOUT_REACHED error.

The error is captured in the web collector from version 2.16.0, in Android from version 1.18.0 and iOS from version 1.16.0
